CAPEL VILLAGE MEMORIAL HALL – CHARGES & CONDITIONS OF HIRE – 2013
The Committee does not accept any liability for loss or damage to personal possessions or vehicles.
CHARGES:– MAIN HALL @ £17 per hour : COMMITTEE ROOM @ £6 per hour
(concessions for Locals) (min 2 hours = £12)
Use of green crockery for larger functions will be an extra £15.
A non-refundable fee of 50% will be charged as confirmation with the Booking – there after cancellation may incur the full charge.
Large Functions – wedding receptions / parties / dances etc. – will be a charged a deposit of £50 to cover any potential extra cleaning and / or possible damage – refundable on satisfactory inspection
Please ensure that any table/drying cloths are returned in a clean condition for others’ useage.
The Hirer must:-
NB – there must be sufficient numbers of adults on the premises at all times to supervise minors.
He / She will ensure:-
NB. – maximum peak noise level is 90db at 1 metre from source.
Numbers – the maximum number of people legally allowed in the Hall is:-
SEATED = 100 STANDING = 180
Alcohol – the “Sale” of alcohol requires the Hirer to obtain a Licence from Mole Valley Licensing Department – only 12 licences are allowed per calendar year so a licence is not always guaranteed.
“Free” is exempt and provided not included in the price of any ticket or similar.
An Alcohol bar must NOT be set up in the Main Hall.
Alcohol consumption on these premises is governed by legislation – you may be prosecuted accordingly.
All Music must cease at Midnight and the premises vacated and left as found, and latest at the time indicated and paid for on the Booking Form.
