Capel Local History Group
The Capel Local History Group has been going since 2007 in its present form. It is an informal, enjoyable group that meets at The Friends Meeting House, 144 The Street, Capel, RH5 5EN. Meetings last about 2 hours, starting at 10 am.
Our next series of meetings are planned as follows:

Tuesday 8th October (break for half term)

Tuesday 19th November
Tuesday 3rd December
Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing as many of you as we can.
The subjects are to be decided but the following offer interesting areas to look into:
History of Arnolds and the Kerrich family with quite surprising links to Newcastle, Ewhurst and Norfolk and with interests in brewing, coalmining and banking, not to mention Quakers and C o E clergymen.
