Charity Race Night – 27th February 2016

The Capel Sports Pavilion Committee and Capel Youth Club are jointly undertaking a Race Night fundraising event in the Village Hall on Saturday the 27th February.  Funds will be divided between the two organisations going towards the new Sports Pavilion and to help relaunch Capel Youth Club. Capel and Ockley Pantomime 2016

The Ockley Dramatic Society, which nowadays incorporates a contingent from Capel too, are proud to present this season’s Pantomime: Percy and the Holy Grail, by Sharon Holm. Capel Choral Society

Capel Choral Society: Christmas at home!

‘Home’ for Capel Choral Society is the Memorial Hall in Capel village, and that is where the choir will be holding its Christmas Concert on Monday 7th December. The programme will include the ‘Christmas’ choruses from Handel’s messiah (including Hallelujah!) interspersed with some less familiar pieces by Rossini, Saint Saens and Mendelssohn. Capel ‘Bingo and a bite to eat’ evenings

Thank you to all those regular and occasional supporters of our monthly ‘Bingo and a bite to eat’ evenings.  Thanks especially to Tony Emery our superb caller and to John Morgan for all his assistance.  Doors open at 7pm for eyes down at 7.30pm.  We play 8 games of bingo with cash prizes, and enjoy a 2 course supper, all for just £10 per head.  New players are always welcome. …
