Our May outing was a trip on the river Thames and as the weather had been awful up to this point we set off with some trepidation on the morning of the 20th. However, our fears were unfounded and we arrived in Windsor in sunny weather. Having been told by the driver that the Changing of the Guard was due to take place, most of us set off for Windsor castle to enjoy the proceedings. We then boarded the boat for our trip down the river and while gazing at some of the gorgeous houses we enjoyed a lovely cream tea.
