The Evergreens
Way back in October we visited the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners and we were so impressed with our visit that we invited our guide to come and speak to us
at one of our meetings. So it came about that Brian Cumming visited us on the 8th February and as we were having one of our lunches that day we invited him to join us. We had such an enjoyable day, with him giving a great talk with accompanying slides. We learned so much about the Chelsea Pensioners and their lives at the Royal Hospital.
This month we start our trips, the first one being a coastal trip and a visit to a Garden Centre, then in
April about 30 of us are off to Ireland for a few days.
