Hopefully you will have seen the rather different Christmas Tree (actually a branch from a fallen Silver Birch tree) in Capel Churchyard. Thanks to all the members who helped put it up on 29th November, with all the other village societies who worked on their own offerings. Particular thanks to David & Judith Hall for making it white, Sam Jenks for the superb hand-made ‘vegetable’ decorations, Sally Griffin for the allium heads and Frances Coward for the essential mugs, gloves and fork, oh yes! And to Suzanne for the painted welly boots.

There was no Committee Meeting in December mainly due to the Hall being booked for another

meeting so the precise dates for next year’s Shows have not been fixed as yet. These dates will be announced in due course, but they should be around the same time as last year. With all good Wishes to you all for a good growing year in 2015. CC.
