Update

Capel Hall will be opening on 6 May for use as a Polling Station in the local elections. It will then be closed and fully re-opening (hopefully on a permanent basis) from Monday 17th May. Bookings will still be subject to size limits and the “rule of 6” up until 21st June when we anticipate that a full range of activities will be permitted, including dancing, and social contact rules hopefully removed.

Not all the regular users have decided when to re-start their activities so please check with their representatives. We are now taking bookings and look forward to seeing you throughout the rest of this year.

Latest News

Whilst we may not have been busy over past months hiring out the village hall, our wonderful community have been helping us out financially enabling the replacement of curtains in the main hall. Special thanks go to:  Capel Parish Council; Flix in the Stix; Friends of the Guides; an anonymous friend and Capel Horticultural Society for their most generous donations.  We really could not have done it without you.  We shall add some photos to the website as soon as possible.  The next phase of refurbishment involves fitting new fire doors, this we hope to achieve in the coming weeks ready for (hopefully) re-opening in the spring.

We very much look forward to welcoming our regular users back to our hall.  Whilst currently unable to accommodate groups, any enquiries for future bookings can be made through this website – click here – link to enquiry form.
