Our November trip was to Covent Garden where We arrived in time for coffee and then some shopping before we had lunch. After lunch it was time to set off to the Theatre Royal. Drury Lane where we were booked for a backstage tour. What a wonderful theatre this is; it is the oldest in the world dating back to the 1600’s. We were shown around by various actors all dressed up in costume and giving us wonderful commentaries. At the end of the tour we were sorry to leave.

On behalf of the Evergreens I would like to thanks the Friends of Capel for a truly magnificent party on Saturday. December 7th. You all worked so hard to entertain us and we really appreciated it.
