The Parish Council has requested that Highways prioritise the resurfacing of Newdigate Road, Rusper Road and Vicarage Lane. A list has also been drawn up of all the outstanding faults reported over the winter and as yet not rectified including all the blocked gullies, flooded ditches and missing road signs.

Local intergrated transport schemes planned by Highways for 2012/2013 include:

A29 Henhurst Corss Lane to Beare Green – £10,000 is allocated for reduction of speed to 50mph to be implemented at same time as A24 Deepdene to Beare Green speed limit reduction.

A24 Beare Green (southbound) near The Weald School – £20,000 is allocated for safety improvements (signing, road markings, pedestrian guard railing and VAS)

A24 Old Horsham Road, Holmwood –£15,000 is allocated to address right turn/vehicle overhang on A24 Central reservation.

Traffic Signs – £10,000 is allocated for and works are ordered for advisory ‘Unsuitable for HGV’s’ in Coldharbour Lane.
