Happy 15th Birthday Capel Lunches!

January 8th saw the 15th Birthday of the highly popular Capel Lunches. these provide a variety of hot meals in very good company, and guests give a donation towards the cost if they wish. Everyone is welcome and some people have been coming since the start in 2000!

Capel East Village Book Club

After three meetings. we drew a blank on days free in December, so our next gathering is in January for lunch at a pub, then tea at a members house over the road! Children’s Society Coffee Morning Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who came along to the church on Saturday 22nd November to the Children’s Society coffee morning and Traidcraft sale. We raised a total of nearly £500 from christmas card sales and refreshments for the Children’s Society and Sue Partridge’s Traidcraft stall raised approximately £80 which was also a good result. Capel Old Friend’s Party

Chris D suggested I write the article, as a first time guest. Having, like several others, sometimes been a helper, it was a new experience. Guided into the hall with friendly greetings to view lovely decorations, balloons, Christmas trees, baubles, bespoke table decorations. and hand-made napkin rings.
