Some of you will have seen that the wall surrounding the churchyard has developed some gaps. The whole wall is in need of re-pointing but most urgently we need to do repairs to ensure safety of all those who go near the wall.

A rough estimate of the money required is £!5,000 and the Friends cannot assist as they deal with the church building only. The parish council has offered some help with the wall to the west, where it borders the council burial ground but we will have to raise a lot of money to complete this work. Fund raising ideas have materialised and next month we will reveal some of the worked out ideas.

In the meantime donations towards the cause are very welcome.
